Are you an experienced ECE?

Understanding PLAR

Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR) allows the knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have already gained through on-the-job training, formal education, and life experience to be assessed and counted as credit toward your ECE program.

In other words, you already have a lot of the expertise that makes an ECE successful. Our team will work with you to help you demonstrate your expertise and gain the recognition you deserve.

The NSCECE uniquely specializes in PLAR with a staff facilitated and peer supported model that allows you to demonstrate your prior learning and receive credit for 50% of your program's content.

Having your previous experience recognized saves you time and money by not having to retrain in skills you already have!

Opportunities

  • Earn your ECE Diploma
  • Level Two Classification
  • Combine your diploma with an existing or future degree to qualify for level three classification

Lifestyle
