Immediately after completing step one you will be granted access to an online portal that will help you find and organize the documents that are required for admission into the program. These include the following:

You can upload your supporting documents on our online portal or you can send them to out Admissions Officer via mail. You’ll email instructions to help you complete your application online or offline.
English Language Proficiency
If English is NOT your First Language, you must submit an official document from a recognized provider showing proof of English language proficiency indicating you have successfully completed one of the above ESL assessments.
ESL (English Second Language) Requirements:
TOEFEL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 80 or higher
EAP (English for Academic Purposes) program completion
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) completion of level 6 or higher
CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) minimum of 7 in all areas
Which Program Should I Apply To?
ECE Accelerated Diploma Program or Traditional ECE Diploma Program:
If you have an interest in ECE and a high school diploma or prior degree, either of these programs are a good fit for you.
Online Diploma Program with PLAR*:
If you have been working in a registered early learning setting for a minimum of two-years AND have a Level 1 classification AND/OR a diploma/degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, our online program will be the fastest and easiest way for you to level up your ECE education.
Can I do this while I'm working?
ECE Accelerated Diploma Program or Traditional ECE Diploma Program
These are full time programs that take place during regular business hours.
Online Diploma Program with PLAR
This program takes place in the evening and online and your practicum will take place in your current workplace. As a result, this program allows you to stay in your current ECE position with minimal disruption to your work and life.
Work Permits (International Students)
Please note that NSCECE graduates are not eligible for the post graduate work permit.
